I cant believe one of The Golden Girls has gone.

I shall remember Marlene chatting away about her many adventures and stories (you’d be lucky to get a word in edgeways though as she could talk the hind legs off a donkey!).

I always called her Judith Chalmers because she was always on holiday! I used to love playing her up (and then her hitting me!).

My favourite memory of her is one time at The Rep the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate. It was during the interval and Marlene was selling ice creams at the time. She took the tray with her and carried on selling them at the evactuation point!

I shall renember her love of life, how much she loved to dance, and for being one of my Golden Girls.
